An affiliate is someone who resells Northern Epics tours and gets a percentage of each sale for themselves.

Affiliates can come in all shapes and sizes. From huge global travel agencies, to small travel bloggers or influencers, we welcome all of you!

There are a few different options when it comes to the type of affiliate relationship you may want, and it depends on your “shape and size”. Those options are outlined below!

You make money, and you get your people booked on the best-rated and most-reviewed hiking tours in Denali. In 2025, our affiliate partners made over $70,000 from tours they booked with us.

But that’s not the best reason to become a NE affiliate. The best reason is the experience you get. When you become an affiliate with us, you are valued. We treat you like family. If you’re in a bind, you can call us. If you want info about Denali, you can call us.

We see our job as to make your job easier, and we will do anything to that end. Our affiliates call us all the time to ask questions about Denali in order to help their clients better. I just had an affiliate tell me yesterday that every time she calls she “feels like we know everything.”

Last summer, one of our affiliates called us in a panic because a tour got canceled for one of their clients. It wasn’t our tour, but it was going to derail their vacation. We were able to scramble and get them on a tour with us in less than 20 minutes.

Programs like Viator are definitely tempting. They’re a one-stop-shop for tours and activities.

You don’t need to have an affiliate relationship with every company you book tours with. You just need one relationship with Viator, and you get a nice commission on every tour you book.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t do this. It’s a great solution to an annoying problem. However, there are big benefits to working directly with us.

Reason #1: We give higher commission rates. Viator gives you about 8%, while we’ll give you 20% or more.

Our average affiliate books more than $22,000 with us in the first 2 years. Working with us, that commission comes out to $4,451 for you. With Viator, that commission comes to $1,780.

That’s $2,671 you wouldn’t be getting working with Viator. You might notice that’s more than $1,780. You’re losing more than you’re making by working with Viator instead of us.

You can also give us more information about your clients that we can use to personalize things to them if they’re booked through us. They can also be booked on private tours if they’re booked through us directly.
